I was born and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. My family came to Indian Territory in the 1860’s. My great grandfather graduated from medical school at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee and came to the Chickasaw Nation Indian Territory to practice medicine.
